Juillet 2016 : “Atelier de cr\u00e9ation de tissus” par Spoonflower \u00e0 Berlin-Neuk\u00f6lln.
C’est ici que je rencontre C\u00e9line, Bianca et Winston pour la premi\u00e8re fois, entour\u00e9s de nombreuses personnes cr\u00e9atives.
Cela aura des cons\u00e9quences, dans le meilleur sens du terme.<\/span><\/p>\n

C\u00e9line a un chemisier blanc vintage d’occasion avec une belle r\u00e9p\u00e9tition de papillons dessus et du lierre comme tatouages sur son bras.<\/span>
Nous nous aimons imm\u00e9diatement et restons en contact.<\/span>
C\u00e9line, designer, artiste textile, cr\u00e9atrice de costumes de Paris. @akeleidesigns<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Le 03.10.2017 (Jour de l’unit\u00e9 allemande), je visiterai votre atelier de s\u00e9rigraphie \u00e0 Berlin, ce qui change ma vie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Une heure de th\u00e9orie de la s\u00e9rigraphie en allemand avec un charmant accent fran\u00e7ais et ensuite on peut \u00eatre cr\u00e9atif !<\/span>
Oha ! Que dois-je imprimer ? Qu’est-ce qui me pr\u00e9occupe en ce moment ?<\/span><\/p>\n

Je commence \u00e0 d\u00e9couper le premier oiseau avec le cutter, puis le deuxi\u00e8me et un troisi\u00e8me.<\/span>
C’est le Festival de la Lune et je fais un cercle avec les grues. Je suis totalement dans le flux, dans la fr\u00e9n\u00e9sie cr\u00e9ative.<\/span><\/p>\n

Plus tard, de nombreux clients me demandent :<\/span>
– que ce soit une lune ou un soleil,<\/span>
– si c’\u00e9tait une famille,<\/span>
– si les grues sont toutes de la m\u00eame taille et volent \u00e0 des niveaux diff\u00e9rents.<\/span>
Les grues ressemblent \u00e0 des feuilles de ginkgo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Je n’ai pas pens\u00e9 \u00e0 tout cela. Il \u00e9tait l\u00e0 d’un seul coup.<\/span>
Ce qui me pla\u00eet le plus, c’est qu’elle est clairement ambigu\u00eb.<\/span>
Quelques semaines auparavant, j’avais \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l’Art D\u00e9co, l’Art Nouveau, le Vintage, les motifs des tissus de kimono japonais, Hokusai et Hiroshige.<\/span>
Voici le r\u00e9sultat. Mon logo est n\u00e9. Un coup de d\u00e9part pour mon label.<\/span><\/p>\n

Je coupe le plus long sur mon motif et je suis le dernier participant au cours de s\u00e9rigraphie de C\u00e9line \u00e0 imprimer.<\/span>
Avec de l’or brillant.<\/span>
Les autres cr\u00e9atifs ont applaudi, chaque participant \u00e9tant de tr\u00e8s bonne humeur.<\/span>
Cela ne se reproduira plus jamais dans l’un des nombreux cours de s\u00e9rigraphie que je suivrai par la suite.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exactement un an apr\u00e8s mon premier cours de s\u00e9rigraphie, C\u00e9line et moi donnons un cours de s\u00e9rigraphie ensemble. Quel plaisir !<\/span><\/p>\n

July 2016: “Fabric Design Workshop” by Spoonflower in Berlin-Neuk\u00f6lln.
Here I meet C\u00e9line, Bianca and Winston for the very first time, surrounded by many creative people.
This will have consequences, in the very best sense.<\/span><\/p>\n

C\u00e9line has a white vintage second hand blouse with a beautiful repeat of butterflies on it and ivy as tattoos on her arm.<\/span><\/p>\n

We like each other immediately and keep in touch.<\/span>
C\u00e9line, a designer, textile artist, costume designer from Paris. @akeleidesigns<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

On 03.10.2017 (Day of German Unity) I will visit her screen printing workshop in Berlin, which changes my life.<\/span><\/p>\n

One hour of screen printing theory in German with a charming French accent and then we are “allowed” to get creative!<\/span>
Oha! What should I print? What’s on my mind right now?<\/span><\/p>\n

I start to cut out the first bird with the cutter, then the second and a third.<\/span>
It’s Moon Festival and I’m making a circle with the cranes. I’m totally in the flow, in the creative frenzy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Later I am asked by many customers:<\/span>
– whether it’s a moon or a sun,<\/span>
– if this was a family,<\/span>
– whether the cranes are all the same size and fly on different levels.<\/span>
The cranes look like ginkgo leaves.<\/span><\/p>\n

I haven’t thought about all that. It was there all at once.<\/span>
What pleases me most is that it is clearly ambiguous.<\/span>
Weeks before, I had studied Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Vintage, Japanese kimono fabric patterns, Hokusai and Hiroshige.<\/span>
Here is the result. My logo was born. Starting shot for my label.<\/span><\/p>\n

I cut the longest on my motif and am the last participant in C\u00e9line’s screen printing course to print.<\/span>
With glowing gold.<\/span>
The other creatives applauded, each participant in a great mood.<\/span>
This never happens again in one of the many subsequent screen printing courses I attend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exactly one year after my first screen printing course, C\u00e9line and I give a screen printing course together. What fun!<\/span><\/p>\n

Recette pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e:<\/strong><\/span>
Le pain le plus simple (merci Eva !) 1 cube de chapelure de levure fra\u00eeche, 500g de farine, 2-3 cuill\u00e8res \u00e0 caf\u00e9 de sel, 500ml d’eau ti\u00e8de, 2 cuill\u00e8res \u00e0 soupe de vinaigre de cidre, jusqu’\u00e0 200g de noix, des graines… Mettez dans le moule \u00e0 parchemin, placez dans un four froid, faites cuire \u00e0 200\u00b0C O\/U pendant environ 70 minutes, et bang ! De la forme de cuisson sur une grille \u00e0 la r\u00e9frig\u00e9ration, variation selon les go\u00fbts sans fin possible, j’aime les graines + carotte ou betterave r\u00e2p\u00e9e, seigle VK + noix + raisins secs…<\/span><\/p>\n

The simplest bread (thanks Eva!) 1 cube of fresh yeast crumbs, 500g flour, 2-3 teaspoons salt, 500ml lukewarm water, 2 tablespoons cider vinegar, up to 200g nuts, seeds… Put into the baking parchment tin, place in a cold oven, bake at 200\u00b0C O\/U for about 70 minutes, and bang! From the baking form on a grid to cool, variation according to taste without end possible, I like seeds + grated carrot or beetroot, rye VK + nuts + raisins…<\/span><\/p>\n
